Pre-Decline era folio discovered in vat of rural moorland residence.

Text is diaristic and fragmentary, with a surprisingly individualised voice given the antiquity of the artefact; while most of the fragments appear to describe the natural world of the time (and are proving to be an invaluable source of information on the planet's pre-Decline landscape), glimpses of what could be described as 'autobiography' do appear in the text, particularly during a long section which recounts an outbreak of an unidentified, interspecies disease.
