The Lye Planet Research Unit (LPRU) is an organisation dedicated to the study of the Lye Planet and its former civilisations. Chief among our research concerns are Lye artefacts — texts, illustrations and a wide array of other items — produced in the later period of life on the planet, which came to an end due to the rapid cooling and death of its sun.
